Texas Spring

Hello!

I’m so glad it’s finally March in Texas. This is our Spring - the one month Summer usually can't take over. The wildflowers are beginning to appear along the highways, the birds are louder in the morning, and the air is still crisp and fresh with the scent of sweet olive blossoms. During my run the other evening I passed the delicious smell of wild jasmine and I was tempted to double my running route just so I could pass that spot again. #nexttime My fruit trees are beginning to bud and I’m in the final planning stages for this coming weekend’s wedding: #todavistheday I can't wait to celebrate Rachel and Caleb!

I am eagerly waiting for the wedding flowers to arrive this week and excited about spending Friday putting everything together. I'll take pictures of course. I realized given the blank looks I got from some friends the other day that they cannot comprehend how flowers are shipped in the mail. I'll be happy to show you. Sometimes they do such a good job with the construction staples and pieces of wood holding everything together in the box that I have a hard time unpacking the flowers. As you wait with me for the flowers to arrive, enjoy this quick snapshot of one of my peach blossoms and have a wonderful Monday! Talk to you soon, friend!
